Information

Empress Motors was established in 1973 by George Riddoch, offering a high standard of service at competitive prices, to private and fleet customers many of whom remain customers and friends today.

In 1978 George was joined in the business by eldest son Derek, who after successfully completing the Motor Industry qualifications, became a partner in the business.

The range of services available for all makes of cars and LVC''s now includes wheels, tyres, exhausts and vehicles diagnostics using the most advanced equipment available.

Following the sudden death of George in July 1997 Derek continued to run the business at its Empress Street base, until the demand for his high standard, personal service outgrew the premises capacity.

Derek has therefore decided to relocate the business to larger more prominent premises on Ellerbeck Road, Accrington.
